- Bypass the ballast: disconnect ballast wires and join the incoming live (L) directly to the LED tube’s live lampholder.
- Connect the incoming neutral (N) to the LED tube’s neutral lampholder; cap off any surplus wires with insulated wire nuts.
- Confirm single-sided wiring orientation: only the designated end of the LED tube carries live and neutral.
- Insert the LED Tube – T8 600mm into the lampholders and rotate gently until it locks in place.
- Switch ON mains power at the breaker and verify the tube illuminates instantly without flicker.
