Installation Guidance, Tips & Tricks

Plan Your Layout

Measure your space and map ripcord and strip cable routes to minimize joins and ensure smooth, gap-free lighting alignment.

Cut Ripcord Precisely

Mark and score the 0.5mm ripcord at join points, then cut using sharp scissors to maintain clean edges for secure connections.

Prepare Strip Cable Ends

Strip 5mm of insulation, twist conductors, then tin with solder for a durable, low-resistance connection with the ripcord and LED strips.

Insert Ripcord Between Strips

Align copper contacts of both strips inside the ripcord channel, then press firmly to eliminate gaps and ensure consistent light flow.

Test And Finalize Setup

Power the strips, inspect for flicker or dim areas, then secure cables with clips and hide ripcord for a clean indoor finish.
