Specifications & Features

If you’re fitting downlights in a bathroom (or any indoor area that gets steamy or splashed, like near the shower or even the kitchen sink), this IP65-rated holder is a practical choice. It helps keep moisture out of the fitting while giving you a neat, modern finish that works well for everyday general lighting with a touch of accent where you need it.

Great for siting above a bathroom mirror, where even, shadow-free light helps with shaving and make-up, and for a small guest toilet or cloakroom that needs neat, bright ceiling lighting. The clear cover copes with everyday humidity and stray water, and the recessed style keeps the look tidy while cutting glare. Use one or two around a vanity or a single fitting for a compact loo.

Installation Guidance, Tips & Tricks

Choose Suitable Indoor Location: Place in bathrooms and other steamy indoor areas, including near showers or sinks, to use the IP65 holder's moisture resistance.

Match The Cutout Size: Ensure the mounting hole matches the 75mm cutout to seat the holder securely and keep the clear cover aligned.

Use A GU10 Bulb: Fit a GU10 bulb and a compatible GU10 connector, as the lamp holder is not included with this IP65 downlight holder.

Check The Splashproof Cover: Ensure the clear cover is fully seated and undamaged to help keep moisture out and maintain the water-resistant IP65 protection.

Test Before Finalizing Installation: After fitting, test the light to confirm the GU10 bulb works and the holder sits neatly with no gaps around the splashproof cover.
