These beautiful LED lamps are the result of the collaboration of Yoin, a Japanese design studio and Mooni, a Swedish lighting brand specializing with solar energy. Taking the objects’ inspiration from traditional Japanese items, users will delight in the clean, functional designs. Chochin is a piece taking the form of a traditional Japanese lantern. It can be carried portably with its body serving as a basket to contain items. Ishicoro (“stone”), has a solar panel installed in its core, creating a gentle illuminating effect and is charming to place among the decorative pebbles. Sand has a flickering LED light that results into a relaxing pattern which can be changed when turned upside down.
Yoin’s series also has an outdoor lamp called Spot, which has a minimal design to accomodate every setting. It can be secured by attaching the pole into the ground.
The rays of the sun charges the batteries during the day, enabling the items to be used for 6 hours. It automatically turns on during the dark.
